Motobu Wagyu comes from cattle raised in the mountains of northern Okinawa, and this Naha restaurant is one of the main places to eat it grilled. The beef has a distinctive marbling profile developed in the subtropical climate, different from the sweeter fat of Kyushu wagyu. Cuts are brought to the table raw for grilling at individual table charcoal grills, and staff advise on timing for each cut. The restaurant itself is clean and modern with good ventilation, which is not always guaranteed at yakiniku places.
